Senshu University is a 132 year old institution of higher education founded at the dawn of modern Japan. The total number of students enrolled is 20,620 including 326 international students. In the past years, many students, mainly from Asia, enroll in the school's undergraduate and graduate programs. Others from both Asian and Western countries, enter the exchange programs. In order to increase the number of international students who wish to learn the Japanese language and culture efficiently, we began providing four-term programs throughout the year. As of March 31, 2011, 1,988 people from 58 different countries have participated in our programs since the summer of 1996.
