Application

Q. My university does not have a partnership with Senshu University. Am I eligible to attend the Japanese Language Program?

A. You are very welcome to participate in our program. We provide four-term (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter) programs throughout the year.

Q. Is a black and white photocopy of my passport acceptable?

A black and white photocopy of your passport is acceptable. Your photo should be taken within the last three months.

Q. Can I apply if I am in Japan already?

A. Of course! You are welcome to our program even if you are in Japan already.

Q. May I submit my application forms through email?

A. Unfortunately, online submission of the application form is unavailable due to file server constraints.  Sorry for inconvenience!

Q. If I apply for two terms but decide to study more, do I have to pay the application fee again? And would I need to send additional application materials, such as university transcripts, etc.?

A. If you would like to take two terms in a row, you do not have to pay the application fee twice. And we need only one university transcript. Please note that the transcript must be original or a certified true copy of the original.

Q. I want to apply for the Spring, Summer and Fall term, when will I know if I am accepted or not? If for some reason, I can not continue to do the Fall term, will I get my money back for it?

A. The results of the placement test from all applicants will determine whether the class you will be enrolled in is organized or not (See our website of “Application Process”). Let us suppose that your class is organized; the final acceptance letter will be given with receipt of your tuition fee.

The tuition fees for several series of terms cannot be paid all at once. (e. g. During the summer term, you will have time to decide if you take the Fall term or not. After making up your mind, you can make a payment for the Fall term by the deadline.) Please note that amounts paid are non-refundable.
